Thanks to a third-party website, it's now possible for those who play games on PC to see what titles are coming up on Steam, and when.

Thanks to an independent database, Steam users can now see exactly when a PC game will be coming out each week, with the list showing the staggering amount of titles that come out on a regular basis. In the past, Valve was once known as a video game development studio and while that is still true, most people tend to think of the company's digital storefront as the main thing associated with Gabe Newell and his team.

While Epic Games Stores is great for free PC games, and Humble Bundle provides opportunities to donate to charity, Steam is undoubtedly the head honcho of the digital storefront realm. Originally conceived as a way of making updating Valve games easier, the service became available in 2003, with the beta going live the year before, and has gone on to dominate the global PC market.

Now, thanks to Pavel Djundik, creator of the SteamDB website, it's become possible for Steam users to quickly see what games are due for release. The way it works is by clicking on the "Upcoming" tab on the site, which will open up a list of games coming out on that day and beyond. There is also a calendar option, which gives a handy visual image of the most popular titles on the days they're due to launch, such as Scorn coming on October 14 or Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which is due on October 19. Hovering over a particular day will even autoplay the trailer, if there is one, so it's generally a handy way to keep an eye on upcoming games.

SteamDB is a third-party site that tracks all things related to Steam. It's considered to be a very useful place to see things like video game charts, upcoming sales, and even offers a way to calculate the value of a Steam account. It's generally a one-stop place for chronicling what's going down with the Valve-owned service.

On top of that, Valve released its Steam Deck portable device at the start of this year, and it has gone down as a tremendous success in the mobile gaming world, which is equally impressive given the company's previous hardware endeavors. For those who are out of the loop on this front, the Deck is essentially a handheld PC that lets users play games from their Steam library. Up until now, keeping up with what titles are coming up has not been the easiest task, but thankfully Djundik has come along and offered a neat method for tracking future releases.
